SnaX
(School Nutrition Awareness) is a comprehensive program that brings communities,
schools and parents together to educate students about healthy eating and
healthy living
(we exceed the new PPM 150 nutritional guidelines set by the Canadian government).*
Once
a day for a full week, SnaX provides all school children with a tasty,
nutritious snack,
providing both a culinary awakening and an opportunity to learn, share and
discover facts
about healthy living. The SnaX Cuisines of the World has an international focus
and offers
children the opportunity to taste everything the world has to offer.
By feeding kids tasty snacks in a supportive environment and encouraging them
to make
informed choices, SnaX helps establish patterns for healthy living that
students will carry
with them long after they leave the classroom.
